After having lived mainly in the dark up till now (not to be confused with the Dark Web), we are about to go more public. Alex is heading to London, and while there, has planned to attend an event of the Royal Geographic Society. First business cards have been printed (even showing our first draft logo - more about that later), so we can start making the necessary contacts with this important institute that has played such an important role in the historical Nile expeditions (Speke, The Blue Nile). It will hopefully allow us to gain valuable insights in the experience and expertise that the RGS holds, not only on geographical aspects, but also on expedition management and especially on what is needed to validate our results.
